The Lakes at Pointe West Hires Lash as Wellness Coordinator

Vero Beach, Fla., January 7, 2009 - The Lakes at Pointe West, a master-planned, luxury retirement community in Vero Beach, Florida has announced the hiring of Dawn Lash for the position of Wellness Coordinator.
As Wellness Coordinator, Lash is responsible for implementing standards of exercise, wellness and senior health at The Lakes at Pointe West. She will design age-appropriate fitness classes and perform personal training to help residents build or maintain strength, balance, flexibility and endurance.
Lash graduated with a B.A. in Health Promotion/Health Fitness from Purdue University West Layfayette, IN and has experience as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, as well as experience managing a personal training department. Lash range of training varies from high-school athlete to senior population, specializing in aquasize, core conditioning, and mat Pilates. As a Pilates mat and reformer instructor, Lash specialized in injury rehabilitation, flexibility training, and core strengthening.
Prior to joining the staff at the Lakes at Pointe West, Lash worked as a teacher for Christi's Family Fitness; Jungle Club Sports Complex in Vero Beach, Florida; and Rock Hard Gym in Vero Beach, Florida.
